Carmel and Hamilton Heights participated in the Indiana Wesleyan University Hoosier State Relays Qualifier No. 3 Saturday.
In the boys meet, the Greyhounds’ 4×800 relay team won that event. Tad Defoe finished third in the long jump for the Huskies’ best finish of the meet.
Carmel’s girls team picked three wins. Brooke Waldal was first in the 3200 run, and the Greyhounds’ 4×800 and distance medley relays also were victorious. Heights finished second in the 4×200 relay.
