Come one, come all, you’ll have a ball
at Westfield High School this very fall.
Horton, Lorax, and Gertrude McFuzz
will all be there … it’s creating a buzz!
So dress up, show up, speak in rhyme,
Eat snacks, take photos, have a good time.
To get your tickets, read to the end,
Then share this story with all of your friends.

In plain English, the Westfield Theatre & Choir Boosters Association is hosting a Green Eggs & Ham Party in honor of this month’s WHS production of Seussical the Musical. The Boosters invite kids throughout the community to come to the high school on Saturday, Nov. 16, from 10 a.m. to noon or from 2 to 4 p.m. for food and fun with the beloved characters from Dr. Seuss’ classics like The Cat in the Hat and Horton Hears a Who.
Whether or not guests are brave enough to try green eggs and ham, which will be available, they can enjoy kid-friendly foods like Hop on Pop Corn, Wedgies of Veggies, and a variety of sweet treats. Kids will also have the opportunity to create a Seuss-inspired hat or crown and play games like Pin the Bow Tie on the Cat.
Amidst whimsical tablescapes and fanciful backdrops, costumed cast members from the upcoming musical will be on hand to help with activities. The main characters will be reading stories, singing songs, posing for photos, and signing autographs. Families will even be able to purchase copies of Green Eggs and Ham as a keepsake to collect signatures or there will be coloring pages available for autographs, as well. Every guest will go home with a treat bag to remember the celebration.
Tickets to the Green Eggs & Ham parties are $15 per child and will serve as a fundraiser, with an emphasis on FUN, for the WHS theater and choir programs.
Also catch the Cat in the Hat, Horton, and all their friends in Seussical the Musical at WHS on Nov. 21 and 22 at 7 p.m. and Nov. 23 at 2 and 7 p.m. For tickets to the pre-parties and the show, visit WestfieldTheatreChoir.com.
