Indiana University Kokomo honored graduate students in its annual hooding ceremony last Friday, May 9, in Havens Auditorium.
Faculty, staff, family, and friends celebrated with 36 students in the Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Public Management (MPM), Master of Science in Management, Master of Art in History, Master of Arts in Political Science, and Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) programs.
Each received hoods in recognition of their achievements in their degree programs, draped by a faculty member who played an important role in their time at IU Kokomo.
Chancellor Mark Canada welcomed the graduates and their family and friends.
“In the year of IU Kokomo’s 56th annual Commencement ceremony, we are delighted to celebrate the achievements of these degree candidates with all of you,” he said. “We know our students have counted on the support of family and friends to make this day possible, and we extend a special welcome to you and share your pride in their accomplishments.”
Anna Kiser of Noblesville received the Outstanding Student in Master of Business Administration award.
