Chuck Goodrich of Noblesville took the oath of office on Tuesday to serve as state representative for House District 29.

Indiana Supreme Court Chief Justice Loretta H. Rush administered the oath in the House Chamber of the Statehouse during Organization Day, the formal start to the legislative session.

“The opportunity to represent our community in the Indiana House of Representatives is truly an honor,” Goodrich said. “As a public servant, I’ll keep lines of communication open between Hamilton County residents and me, keep the best interests of our neighbors in mind and make informed decisions when voting on policies.”

Goodrich serves as president and CEO of Gaylor Electric, Inc., where he started his career in 1991 as an intern. He lives with his wife, Tricia Goodrich, and their four children in Noblesville, where they are active members in the community. As state representative, Goodrich will donate his entire government salary to a local charity to help serve those in need in House District 29.
