Five Hamilton County girls golf teams played at the Hall of Fame Classic, which took place Saturday at Purgatory Golf Club.
Evansville North won the meet with a score of 290. Westfield led the county contingent by placing fourth with a 302. Carmel finished fifth with a 307.
The Shamrocks’ Jocelyn Bruch was the fourth-place individually, with a two-under par 70.
“It was a great day on the golf course for our team,” said Westfield coach Trevor Neu. “We shot our season low score and the girls played some solid golf. Things are starting to trend in the right direction for us with only a couple weeks before postseason begins.”
Katie Kuc led the Greyhounds with a 74, which tied her for 10th place.
“The girls played really well today on a challenging golf course,” said Carmel coach Kelly Kluesner. “We had a few missed putts but overall they managed the course well and played consistent.”
Noblesville and Hamilton Southeastern both scored 337s. The Millers placed 10th to the Royals’ 11th on the Noblesville fifth-woman score. Sarah Brenneman scored an 82 for the Millers, with Amber Luttrell leading HSE with a 77.
Guerin Catholic scored a 354 to take 16th. Christina Pfefferkorn led the Golden Eagles with a 79.
