The Hamilton Heights boys golf team hosted a three-way meet with Sheridan and Lapel Wednesday at Bear Slide Golf Club.
Lapel won the meet with a 175, followed by the Huskies with 178 and the Blackhawks with 256. Hudson Hochstedler led Heights with a 42, followed by Garrett James 43, Kyle Kirtley 46, Price Knowles 47 and John Thuer 48.
Nick Roberts was the low man for Sheridan with a 56. Other Blackhawks scores were Eli Garner 62, Lucas Headlee 66 and Corbin Ells 72.
The Huskies will compete in the Noblesville sectional Monday at Purgatory Golf Club, while Sheridan will head to the Lebanon sectional Monday at Ulen Country Club.
Westfield hosted the Purdue Invitational on Wednesday at the Brick Boilermark Complex, and won the event.
The Shamrocks and runner-up Brebeuf Jesuit both scored 311, with Westfield winning on the tiebreaker. Other team scores were Zionsville 316, Chesterton 318, Lake Central 322 and Yorktown 322.
Drake Biggs led the ‘Rocks with a 77, followed by Ethan Lutz, Jack Sawyer and Timmy Leonard all carding 78s. Spencer Howe and Hunter Cook both scored 82.
Westfield will play at the Lebanon sectional Monday at Ulen Country Club.
Fishers finished second at the inaugural North and South of 40 Invitational, which took place Tuesday at Oak Tree Golf Course in Plainfield.
North Central won the event with a 317, followed by the Tigers with 318 and Plainfield’s 319. Bryce Robertson led Fishers with a 73, which was good for an individual runner-up finish. Caleb Bopp scored 78; other Tigers scores were Dylan O’Daniel 81, Ryan Gausepohl 86 and Will Schade 87.
Fishers will play Noblesville and Hamilton Southeastern at Purgatory Golf Club this afternoon.
