Golf: Huskies, ‘Rocks are dual winners

The Hamilton Heights girls golf team won a dual meet with Frankton Monday at Meadowbrook Golf Course.
The Huskies scored 172 to the Eagles’ 188. Heights’ Ellie Arrowood and Sydni Zebrauskas were co-medalists, both with scores of 41. Alyx Harley and Rebekah Steffen both added 45s.

Fourth-ranked Westfield finished its regular season with a 148-200 win over Western Tuesday at Wood Wind Golf Club.
Jocelyn Bruch and Brette Hanavan each scored 35, sharing medalist honors. Natalie Shupe and Sophie McGinnis both had 39s. Other Shamrock scores were Allie Hildebrand 40, Cate Jensen 40, Alli McEvoy 44, Avery Brooks 48, Grace Snyder 48 and Allie McKeon 50.
Westfield will play at the Ben Davis sectional Friday at South Grove Golf Club.

Noblesville won a junior varsity dual meet 171-181 Monday at Fox Prairie Golf Club.
The Shamrocks’ McKeon was the medalist with a 38. Scores for the Millers were Sophi Stutz 40, McKenzie Bennett 46, Rylee Kendall 47, Alexi Curts 48 and Emma Leming 48.

University dropped its first dual meet of the season on Tuesday, falling to Carmel’s junior varsity 179-192 at Plum Creek Golf Club.
Trailblazers sophomore Becky Williams won her seventh medalist honor of the season with a 40. Kelsey DuBois scored a 44 and Abby Bladen carded 50.
University will also play the sectional at South Grove on Friday.
