Three Hamilton County girls golf teams competed in a nine-hole meet Thursday at Stony Creek Golf Club.
Carmel won the meet with a team score of 156, followed by Hamilton Southeastern with a 167 and Noblesville with a 172. The Greyhounds’ Katie Kuc was the meet medalist, carding a one-under par 35. Kuc played her last eight holes two under.
Michaela Headlee was next for Carmel with a 37, including a birdie. Claire Swathwood and Sydney Longstreth both had 42s. Ava Hedrick scored 43.
The Royals were led by Yanah Ralston’s score of 39. Kaley McHaffie added a 41, while Ashley Marcinko and Amber Luttrell both had 42s. Katy Pippenger scored 44, Grace Dubec made an eagle on her way to a 45, Marissa Spreitzer had a 46 and Gabby Willard carded a 55.
Jordan Adam was the Millers’ low woman with a 42. Ellie Karst and Caroline Whallon both had 43s, while Sarah Brenneman and Bella Deibel each carded 44s.
Westfield won a county dual with Guerin Catholic Thursday at Pebble Brook.
The Shamrocks scored 153 to the Golden Eagles’ 192. Westfield’s Sophie McGinnis was the medalist with a one under par 35, making three birdies in a row at the finish.
Sam Brown and Allie Hildebrand both scored 39s. Other Shamrocks scores were Brette Hanavan 40, Cate Jensen 42, Allie McKeown 42, Mallory Mortl 45, Sam Lemieux 45 and Serena Lee 46.
Christina Pfefferkorn led Guerin Catholic with a 39.
Hamilton Heights picked up two victories in two days this week.
On Wednesday, the Huskies beat Elwood 191-255 in a dual at Bear Slide Golf Club. Sydni Zebrauskas the meet medalist with a 42, while Anna Rickey carded a personal-best 45. Kaylee Rhoton and Rebekah Steffen both scored 52s.
On Thursday, Heights played Crawfordsville and Frankfort in a meet at the Frankfort Commons. The Huskies won with a score of 190, the Athenians had 215, and the Hot Dogs did not qualify for a team score, as they only had three players.
Zebrauskas earned her second medalist honor in as many days with a score of 40. Rhoton and Steffen each carded 49s, and Rickey added a 52.
