Five Hamilton County boys golf teams played at the Ulen Invite at Ulen Country Club on Saturday.
Westfield finished in second place, just behind Zionsville. Both teams carded a 305, with the Eagles winning on the fifth-man score. Alec Cesare led the Shamrocks with a 74.
Hamilton Southeastern took third place, just ahead of Guerin Catholic. Both teams scored 305; the Royals got third on the fifth-man score. Southeastern’s Cole Starnes finished third individually with a 72.
The Golden Eagles did have the meet medalist: Andrew White finished with a 71, winning first place in a playoff. Carmel was fifth with a 321, Sam Booth also had a 71 and placed second.
University carded a team score of 449. Ben Ewer led the Trailblazers with a 90.
Several players competed as individuals. Carmel’s Shoji Fujita led the Hamilton County individuals with a 75.
