Golf: Carmel remains perfect after Crooked Stick win

The Carmel boys golf team remained perfect on the season after winning the Crooked Stick Boys Invitational on Tuesday.
The Greyhounds scored 300 as a team, well ahead of runner-up Cathedral’s 316. Clay Stirsman shared medalist honors with Park Tudor’s Nels Surtani, both had 72s for the event. Nick Dentino and Jack Crawford both scored 74s for Carmel, putting them in a three-way tie for third place.

The Millers’ Clay Merchent was also part of the three-way tie for third, as he scored a 74. Jacob Deakyne carded a 79.
