Golden Eagles pick up third straight win

Guerin Catholic scored its third straight win on Tuesday, beating Riverside 60-29 in a road game.
The Golden Eagles got out to a huge offensive start, leading the Argonauts 27-15 after the first quarter. Seven different Guerin Catholic players scored, with Katie Koger pouring in 10 points.
GC then ramped up its defense in the second period, shutting out Riverside to take a 42-15 halftime lead. Koger added another seven points. The Golden Eagles ran through the third quarter 16-2.
Koger finished with 23 points. Olivia Labus added 12 points, scoring four in each of the first three quarters.
Guerin Catholic is 8-8 and hosts Brebeuf Jesuit Friday in the first game of a Circle City Conference girls-boys doubleheader.
