The Guerin Catholic track and field teams hosted the Circle City Conference meet Friday night.
The Golden Eagles girls team finished in third place. Bridget Gallagher led the way, winning the 800 run and also placing second in the 1600 run. Maris Bulger was the runner-up in both the discus and shot put, while Guerin Catholic also took second in the 4×400 relay, with the team of Emily Demmings, Regan Hadley, Cora McGee and Kyndall Osborne.
In the boys meet, the Golden Eagles finished in fourth place, winning two events. Jack Weber set a new meet record in the 800 run, clocking in at 2 minutes, 0.19 seconds. The 4×400 relay team of Nick Bauman, Andrew Cowlin, Matt Dunlap and Conner Lawrence won that event.
