Guerin Catholic’s girls basketball team won its second consecutive game on Tuesday, beating Shortridge on the road 64-22.
The Golden Eagles outscored the Blue Devils in each quarter, and were in control from the start. Guerin Catholic led 22-6 after the first period and 39-13 at halftime. The Golden Eagles never allowed Shortridge more than eight points in a quarter.
Three Guerin players scored in double figures. Katie Koger led the way with 12 points, while Olivia Labus and Megan Cobb both added 11 points. Delaney Klee made two 3-pointers.
The Golden Eagles are 3-2 and play their first home game of the season on Saturday, taking on Covenant Christian in a Circle City Conference game.
