The Guerin Catholic girls basketball team won its second consecutive game on Friday, beating Brebeuf Jesuit 55-26 in a Circle City Conference away game.
The Golden Eagles led 24-20 at halftime, then ran away in the second half, where they outscored the Braves 31-6. Nicole Cunningham led Guerin with 22 points.
Sydney Geis added 12 points. Olivia Labus had a dominant night on the boards with 11 rebounds, with Grace Hackett corralling five rebounds. Claire Sawyer, Danielle Mason and Geis all had four steals.
Guerin Catholic finished conference play with a 1-3 record and is now 4-15 overall. The Golden Eagles host Herron at noon today.
