Guerin Catholic recovered from a halftime deficit to beat Anderson 69-59 Tuesday at the Eagles Nest in Guerin’s Senior Night game.
The Golden Eagles trailed 35-32 at halftime, but Guerin Catholic got in front by the end of the third quarter, leading 47-46. The Golden Eagles then powered through the fourth quarter, outscoring the Indians 22-13.
Bernie McGuinness earned a double-double, scoring 28 points and collecting 10 rebounds. Kian Sills added 16 points, including three 3-pointers, while Josh Osborn went 8 of 8 from the free throw line on his way to 10 points. Matt Parenteau handed out seven assists.
Guerin Catholic is 12-10 and plays its regular season finale Friday at Scecina.
