Guerin Catholic dropped a 7-3 sectional first-round game on Monday to Class 3A Sectional 26 host Lebanon.
The Golden Eagles started off strong, leading 2-0 after the first inning. Anna Mauch batted in both runs with a center field single to score Madi Cain and Lucy Kemp.
The Tigers took control of the game in the fourth inning by scoring four runs, then added two more in the fifth and another one in the sixth. Lauren Brady hit a leadoff home run in the bottom of the seventh inning for Guerin Catholic, which was held to three hits.
Mauch and Kemp also had one hit. Ava Augustinovicz pitched a complete game, striking out three.
The Golden Eagles finished their season 7-12.
