Guerin Catholic lost a close Circle City Conference game at Heritage Christian, 59-55 on Friday.
The Golden Eagles led 13-12 after the first quarter, but Heritage came back to lead 27-25 at halftime. HC extended its advantage to 43-38 by the end of the third period and was able to hold on in the fourth.
Kian Sills and Bernie McGuinness both scored 12 points for Guerin Catholic. Luke Godfrey handed out five assists and collected four rebounds.
The Golden Eagles are 0-2 in the conference and 3-3 overall. Guerin Catholic will play tonight at Lafayette Jefferson.
