Golden Eagles cruise at Liberty Christian

Guerin Catholic won its third consecutive game on Tuesday, cruising past Liberty Christian 74-43 at the Lions’ gym.
The Golden Eagles outscored Liberty Christian in each quarter of the game, leading 19-10 after the first period and 37-23 at halftime. Guerin Catholic then had a solid defensive third quarter, holding the Lions to nine points on its way to a 56-32 lead.
Kaleb Edwards led the GC scoring with 19 points, with Joseph Bobilya adding 17 points. Bobilya and Patrick Baird both hit three 3-pointers, giving Baird nine points for the game. Edwards made two 3s. Guerin Catholic totaled 11 3-pointers for the game.
Matthew Gillis collected nine rebounds, while Matthew Etchison handed out four assists.
The Golden Eagles are 10-2 for the season and play at Lafayette Central Catholic Friday.
