Guerin Catholic opened its season with a 63-45 win at Park Tudor on Wednesday.
The Golden Eagles outscored the Panthers in all four quarters, leading 14-10 after one period and 28-18 at halftime. Guerin Catholic put the game away in the third period by outscoring Park Tudor 17-10.
Jake Grissom and Bryson Cardinal both scored 13 points for the Golden Eagles, with Cardinal collecting 10 rebounds for a double-double. Carter Murans added nine points and Malcolm Houze scored eight.
Guerin Catholic plays its first home game of the season Saturday, welcoming Cardinal Ritter.
