Guerin Catholic cruised into the semi-finals of Sectional 27 at Bishop Chatard on Tuesday with a 59-29 win over Brebeuf Jesuit.
The Golden Eagles led 14-9 after the first quarter and 28-14 at halftime. Guerin Catholic outscored the Braves in each period and never allowed them to reach double digits in a quarter.
“Senior Hanna Bills played a great all around game to lead to a great all around team win,” said GC coach Jeff Buckner.
Nicole Cunningham scored 15 points, including three 3-pointers. Bills added 12 points.
The Golden Eagles are 6-17 and will play sectional host Bishop Chatard at 7:30 p.m. in the Friday semi-finals.
