Go shopping as a way to help those in need right here in Hamilton County

Shop for a Cause with Spooner Markets and Hamilton County Harvest Food Bank from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 8 for the Summer Market at the Hamilton County 4-H Fairgrounds, 2003 Pleasant St., Noblesville.

Spooner Markets has partnered with Hamilton County Harvest Food Bank and a variety of worthwhile charities. They will collect non-perishable food donations to help stamp out hunger in local communities. Last year, more than 350 pounds of food was collected, and this year’s goal is 1,000 pounds.

Admission is $5, which includes one hourly door prize ticket. There will also be free parking and free admission for ages 12 and under. Receive two additional hourly door prize tickets when you bring non-perishable food donations. Door prizes will be given every hour during the event.

This isn’t just shopping – it’s a feel-good experience that gives back to your community. Browse from among 85 handpicked local vendors supporting amazing causes: clothing boutiques, home goods, seasonal home décor and garden, one-of-a-kind art, health and wellness, fashion accessories, woodworking, men and children’s products, and much more.

Enjoy great eats

Grab a bite at one of four delicious food trucks: The Latin Griller, TacoLoco (Mexican and Chinese), Fillers Co, and Ice Cream Donuts. Stop in at these beverage vendors: Brickhouse Coffee and Have A Drink On Me. Enjoy specialty food vendors offering a variety of treats.

Fun atmosphere

Relax with fun music, plenty of seating areas to take a break, and hourly door prizes to keep the excitement going. One lucky shopper will also win the BIG giveaway: a $100 Garden and Lawn Gift Card from Lowes.
