August 4, 1932 – September 15, 2021
Gloria “Jean” Muller, 89, formerly of Carmel, passed away on September 15, 2021. She was born on August 4, 1932 in Indianapolis, daughter of Lawrence and Lola (Coffman) Steele.
Jean was a 1949 graduate of Warren Central High School. She enjoyed singing in the high school choir as well as her church choir. Through the years, Jean appreciated the times her family would travel on family camping trips. She also looked forward to her seeing her friends and playing Bridge every month.
As a volunteer Counselor for the Crisis Pregnancy Center, Jean was passionate about saving unborn babies. She was also a front desk volunteer at Clarian Hospital for several years.
As a committed Christian, Jean was actively involved in her church, attending Bible Studies, and other ministries.
In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by husband, Richard Hamilton; son, Mark Cowser; and sister, Dawn Sheets.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Muller; sons, Larry (Teresa) Cowser, Brant Cowser, and Greg (Ramona) Cowser, six stepchildren; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, and daughter-in-law, Cathy Cowser.
Family and friends will gather at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, September 24, 2021 at Cornerstone Lutheran Church, of which Jean was a member, and where the Celebration of Life Service will begin at 1:30 p.m.
