The Noblesville girls basketball team turned things around after falling behind in the first quarter of its game at Anderson Tuesday.
The Class 4A No. 9 Millers outscored the Indians in the remaining three periods and eventually won 75-53. Noblesville trailed 19-13 after the first quarter, but a 24-point second period enabled the Millers to take a 37-30 lead by halftime. Noblesville then led 54-44 after three quarters and put the game away by outscoring Anderson 21-9 in the fourth.
Ashlynn Shade had another outstanding game, scoring 33 points. She did it all for the Millers, pulling eight rebounds, dishing out seven assists and making five steals.
Kaitlyn Shoemaker added 11 points. Brooklyn Smitherman collected eight rebounds as well and Mallory Miller handed out five assists.
Noblesville is 7-2 for the season and returns to The Mill on Saturday afternoon to host Westfield in an all-county and Hoosier Crossroads Conference game.
