The Hamilton Heights girls basketball team lost at Bishop Chatard 53-46 on Wednesday.
The Trojans slowly built a lead over the Huskies, going up 8-5 after the first quarter and 18-14 at halftime. Chatard led 30-23 after three periods, then both teams scored 23 points in the fourth.
Bayleigh Runner led Heights’ scoring with 16 points, followed by Lauryn Wiley’s 13 and Jillian Osswald’s 11. Mykayla Moran collected five rebounds. Runner had six steals and five assists.
The Huskies are 5-7 and host New Castle Saturday afternoon.
