The Westfield Lions Club will hold a “Trunk or Treat” for all the local ghosts and goblins on Halloween at Quaker Park in Westfield. The event will run from 5 to 6 p.m. Quaker Park is located behind the Westfield Police and Fire Building at 17501 Dartown Road.
There will be costume contests for both kids and adults, so be creative. There will be raffles, silent auctions, food and warm apple cider.
Lions Club President Anna Skinner, the force behind this effort, said, “With 2020 being the spookiest year ever, many parents are concerned about what to do for a safe trick or treat. The Lions Club will be following the Hamilton County Health Department protocols to help ensure a safe event. We also want to thank MetroNet for their generous sponsorship of our first Lions Trunk or Treat.”
Several local businesses have pledged prizes and raffle items to help make this a safe and fun Halloween.
“We look forward to seeing as many spooky kids and of course their scary parents, this Halloween night,” Skinner said.
The Lions take the motto “We Serve” seriously, and this is just one small example of the work your Westfield Lions do for the community.
