Our Town Cicero is preparing for it’s 2nd annual “Taste of Chocolate” fundraiser, to be held on Monday, Feb. 13, 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at 10 West, including 30 West and the basement lounge.
Guests will enjoy sweet and savory chocolate-laced foods, desserts and cocktails donated by local businesses while bidding on raffle gift basket packages, proceeds benefitting the Pocket Park. Light finger foods are included, prepared by Cicero Market and Sweet Inspirations. Cash Bar available.
“The Our Town Cicero Mainstreet Organization is kicking off it’s second year with this great event. Our board members and volunteers enjoy creating events that connect our local businesses and community members in fun, social settings” said Brett Morrow, President.
Cyndi Kanaly from SunSeekers Travel volunteer to chair the event this year. Cyndi has worked to obtain and organize the vendors and has created themed rooms where the vendors will be serving.
Some of the vendors providing tasty treats while featuring their business include, All About You Hair Salon, Cicero Market, DeLullo’s Trattoria, Friends of the Library, Harbour Town Martial Arts, Hoosier Sign Guy, Hope Family Care Clinic, Northern Hamilton County Chamber of Commerce, Our Town Cicero, Partners and Friends of the Hamilton North Public Library, Port Cicero, Scheetz Century 21, Sound Harbour, SunSeeker Travels, Sweet Inspirations and 10 West.
Individual tickets are $15 and are going quickly. A limited number of tickets are for sale at the Cicero Market, or you can purchase your tickets online at https://otctasteofchocolate2017.eventbrite.com “Last year’s event was a packed house, so we decided to limit the number of guests to 150 this year. We encourage our friends to get their tickets early, as there may be very few, if any, available to purchase at the door” said Sue Baker, Promotions Director.
