Guerin Catholic got a nice win at Muncie Central Saturday night, by the score of 63-41.
The Golden Eagles jumped out to a 21-6 advantage after the first quarter, then held off a run by the Bearcats to lead 30-21 at halftime. Guerin outscored Muncie Central 33-20 in the second half.
Kian Sills poured in 27 points on perfect shooting from the field (10-10, 4-of-4 from 3-point range). Luke Godfrey added 13 points, including three 3-pointers, and Bernie McGuinness reached double-double status with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Sills and Godfrey both collected six rebounds. Joseph Bobilya handed out six assists and Godfrey dished out four.
Guerin Catholic is 2-2 and hosts Pendleton Heights on Tuesday.
