The Guerin Catholic girls basketball team fell to Lapel 48-36 in an away game on Wednesday.
The Golden Eagles trailed 14-5 after the first quarter and 26-10 at halftime. Nicole Cunningham led Guerin Catholic with 11 points, while freshman Olivia Labus scored nine points. Sarah Holba grabbed nine rebounds, while Danielle Mason made five steals.
The Golden Eagles will host Shelbyville Friday night at the Eagles Nest.
