Guerin Catholic fell to Heritage Christian 68-50 in Friday’s semi-finals at Class 3A Sectional 27 at Bishop Chatard.
Heritage was in control from the start, leading 29-12 after the first quarter. The Eagles extended that advantage to 46-26 by halftime. Olivia Labus scored six points for the Golden Eagles in the second period. Heritage Christian then led 59-35 after three quarters.
Labus led the Guerin Catholic scoring with 13 points, while Nicole Cunningham added 10 points, including three 3-pointers. Katie Koger and Delaney Klee both made one 3-pointer.
The Golden Eagles finished their season with a 9-15 record.
