Guerin Catholic scored a nice win at Lapel on Tuesday, beating the Bulldogs 67-45.
The Golden Eagles led 17-12 after the first quarter. Lapel cut that advantage slightly by halftime, to 26-22, but Guerin Catholic took care of business in the third period by scoring 21 points. The Golden Eagles added another 20 points in the fourth.
Will Grissom scored 17 points and also handed out four assists. Robert Sorensen and Lucas Parker both drained three 3-pointers while scoring 15 points each. Jack Cherry led the rebounds with five.
The Golden Eagles are 4-3 and play Thursday afternoon at Lebanon. The junior varsity game starts at 1 p.m., with the varsity contest beginning around 2:30 p.m.
