GC bounces back with win at Martinsville

Guerin Catholic got a rebound victory on Saturday, sailing past Martinsville 62-36 at the Artesians’ gym.
The Golden Eagles steadily built their lead throughout the game and outscored Martinsville in each quarter. Guerin led 12-5 after the first period and 30-15 at halftime. Nine different players scored for the Golden Eagles, with Kaleb Edwards leading the way by scoring 15 points, including two 3-pointers.
Edwards also had six rebounds and made four blocked shots. Will Grissom added 11 points and had four steals. Aden Cannon collected nine rebounds, while Garrett Kreiner had nine points and six rebounds.
Guerin Catholic is 8-2 for the season and returns to the Eagles Nest on Friday to host Brebeuf Jesuit in a Circle City Conference game.
