Fun weekend of events coming in Carmel

Beginning this Friday, Carmel residents can enjoy no fewer than four great events featuring music, art, and even another Roundabout Ride.

Late Night on Main

This Friday night from 7 p.m. to midnight, the Carmel Arts & Design District will come alive with two concerts featuring The Brothers Footman and Lisa Frank & the Trapper Keepers. The Brothers go on at 9 p.m., and the Trappers follow at 10:30 p.m. The stage will be set up at West Main Street and 2nd Avenue NW.

Carmel on Canvas

From Friday, Sept. 16 to Sunday, Sept. 18, enjoy plein air painting in the Carmel Arts & Design District, Midtown Plaza, the Monon Greenway, the Japanese Gardens, and Carmel City Center.

Roundabout Ride

The second annual Roundabout Ride will take place from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Sept. 17. Presented by Bike Carmel and IU Health North Hospital, families can choose to ride either the 25-mile or 50-mile route.

Registration is $45 for the 25-mile option or $65 for the 50-mile option. $5 from each registration will go to the Rollfast Foundation for suicide prevention.

Carmel PorchFest

Bring your chairs, your friends, and your families to Carmel PorchFest on Sunday, Sept. 18.

More than 55 bands will play on 20 porches in Arts & Design District neighborhoods from noon to 6 p.m. The event is free for everyone to enjoy, but beer, wine and food vendors will be available.
