Update No. 111

I would like to welcome our new families to Hamilton Heights. We are excited to have you and share the many amenities and opportunities Heights has to offer. It won’t take you too long to feel as we do that Heights is a special place for all children.

We are also excited to welcome the newest educators to Hamilton Heights for the 2023-24 school year. They include:

  • HHES: Tara Mueller (Music), Jenny Fleck (second grade), Jenna Goodspeed (third grade), Morgan Hogue (second grade), Tori Holt (second grade), Jenna MacNulty (third grade), and Ainsley Wehrle (first grade).

  • HHHS: Amy Adame (Special Education teacher), Alicia Culbertson (Math teacher), Jill Howell (MS/HS Choir teacher), and Jay Matthews (Social Studies).

Garrison Brege and Coby Woodring are college students who are spending the year with us working in our buildings as teacher residents. This is in thanks to a grant through the Indiana Commission for Higher Education (CHE) and in collaboration with our partners at Indiana University – Kokomo.

This group joins a passionate and talented team of outstanding educators and amazing support staff who create the foundation for your child’s academic success during their journey at Hamilton Heights. Thank you for selecting Heights to start or continue your career.

I have a couple of shout outs to share. Mark Snelson and Billy Cox led the Marching Huskies Band to a strong showing at the Indiana State Fair Band Day Competition. They placed 20th out of the 37 bands completing in Class AA category. The Band won first in the percussion performance!

Under the direction of HHMS Cheer Coach, Nikki Myrick, five Cheerleaders (Illiana Bowyer, Grace Reynolds, Kolby Weaver, Ashley Woodruff, and Rylee Worland) recently earned the title of All American Cheerleader from Universal Cheerleading Association. Congratulations!
