If you miss going out to the movies and want a safe, family-friendly option that does not involve streaming something at home, CrossRoads Student Center has the answer. They have two options for you to see a free outdoor movie this month.
On Saturday, Aug. 15 you can see Toy Story 4 in the park at 400 N. Perry St., Kirklin. One week later on Saturday, Aug. 22, you have a second opportunity to see the movie right here in Hamilton County at Dolles Park, 130 W. Walton St., Atlanta.
According to Pastor Chris Brooks, there is no cost for these family-friendly events.
CrossRoads Student Center is providing individually packaged snacks, music and more starting at 7:30 p.m. Movies will start after sunset at approximately 9:30 p.m. each night.
CrossRoads asks that you bring your own blanket or lawn chairs.
State and local social distancing guidelines will be in place to ensure the safety of everyone involved.
