Free children’s coats still available in Hamilton County

Hamilton County Kids Coats distributed over 2,000 coats in November to registered guests to ensure that children and their families stay warm this winter. If any family in need missed these giveaways, they can still receive a free coat through February at the Merciful H.E.L.P. Center, 1045 W. 146th St., Carmel.

Coats will be distributed at specific dates and times:

  • Saturday, Jan. 6 |  9 to 11:30 a.m.
  • Tuesday, Jan. 9 |  5 to 7 p.m.
  • Saturday, Jan. 13 |  9 to 11:30 a.m.
  • Tuesday, Jan. 23 |  5 to 7 p.m.
  • Saturday, Feb. 3 |  9 to 11:30 a.m.
  • Tuesday, Feb. 6 |  5 to 7 p.m.
  • Tuesday, Feb. 13 |  5 to 7 p.m.

These are walk-in hours and families do not need to register to receive a coat.

Hamilton County Kids Coats is a year-round coat ministry that shares the warmth of Christ’s love, by ensuring that no child will go without a coat or needed gear in the winter.
