Franklin College honored its students in late April for their exceptional scholarly efforts during the 2020-21 academic year with merit awards and scholarships. The annual Spring Honors Convocation was held in two parts this year in keeping with COVID-19 guidelines.
The following students from Hamilton County were honored:
- Avery M.K. Bundy, son of Malinda Bundy of Sheridan, received the Indiana Certified Public Accountants Award.
- Claire E. Castillo, daughter Daniel and Dianne Castillo of Fishers, was honored for completion of the Pulliam Fellowship.
- Alexis Cheatham, daughter of Jill English of Indianapolis and Riley Cheatham of Fishers, received the Tunison Award for Excellence in English and the Wayne Coy Award.
- Ashlynn N. Meadows, daughter of Brad and Dawn Meadows of Carmel, received the Dr. Jerry L. Curnutt Endowed Scholarship for Chemistry & Physics.
