Frank A. Amruso, 85, Noblesville, passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at his home. He was born on April 14, 1938, in Jamaica, Queens, N.Y.
Frank served as Comptroller for Philip Morris and United Technologies. He owned Showplace Video for 15 years in Marion. Frank enjoyed golf and loved watching all sports; his favorite teams were the NY Mets and University of Kentucky. He also enjoyed playing poker, music, dancing, and working in his garden. Most of all, Frank loved his family and spending time with his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 52 1/2 years, Ann Heffron Amruso; children, Michele (Charlie) Mace, Lisa Hellstrom, Nadia (Dustin) Roberts, Frank (Stephanie) Amruso, and Melissa (Nathan) Smith; six grandchildren, Anthony (Kristy) Mace, Christine Mace, Aria Smith, Sydney Roberts, Frank Amruso, and Declan Smith; one great-grandchild on the way; and his brother, Ronnie Amruso (Ed Jablonsky).
Frank was preceded in death by his father, Louis Amruso; and his mother, Winifred Zboyan.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, May 15, 2023, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville. An additional visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., with services at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
