Four University baseball players were named to the All-Pioneer Athletic Academic Conference team.
The Trailblazer players are Dawson Estep, Brock Moore, Cade Carlson and Garrett Hill. Four is the maximum allowed for a team on the All-PAAC list.
The Class 1A baseball state championship game between University and Daleville set several new records and tied one more.
Among the new records: The teams combined for 24 strikeouts (new 1A and all-time record), while University’s 14 total strikeout is a new 1A mark. The Trailblazers’ Garrett Hill stole three bases, which ties the 1A record and all-time championship game record.
