Susan Brooks has announced her endorsement of Stephanie Flittner for Carmel Clay School Board. Brooks is a Carmel resident, a parent, as well as the daughter, sister, and mother of teachers.
“I am endorsing Stephanie Flittner for Carmel Clay School Board because she has the experience and qualifications needed to be extremely effective on the school board during this critical time,” Brooks said. “Stephanie Flittner is an engineer, lawyer at a well-known local construction firm, and serves as the leader of one of the largest women’s community service organizations in central Indiana. I’m proud to have witnessed her strong and thoughtful leadership in the Junior League of Indianapolis. Stephanie has consistently demonstrated critical thinking, collaboration with stakeholders and transparency in board roles. I’m a strong supporter of those like Stephanie who believe in teaching our children how to think, not what to think.”
Brooks continued, “It is my hope that the Carmel voters strongly consider voting to elect Stephanie because she has the experience and qualifications needed to be an effective school board member. I am confident that Stephanie Flittner will collaborate with and listen to parents, teachers, students, and taxpayers to do what’s best for Carmel students.”
Flittner said, “I am honored to receive Susan’s endorsement. Susan exemplifies the conservative leadership style I hope to emulate. During her time in Congress, Susan collaborated with both public and private sector leaders for the betterment of all Hoosiers.
