Folds of Honor Indiana, known for its commitment to providing life-changing scholarships to spouses and children of fallen or disabled military personnel and first responders, has announced the third year of its partnership with Indianapolis Cars & Coffee (IC&C).
To kick off the season, IC&C will hold its first event of the year on Saturday, April 19 at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park starting at 8 a.m.
IC&C events are hosted monthly at different venues in central Indiana from April through October. While all IC&C events are free to attend, money raised from sponsorships and onsite donations goes toward Folds of Honor Indiana. Since the two nonprofits joined forces, IC&C has raised more than $190,000 for scholarship recipients across Indiana, including more than $65,000 in 2024.
This season-opening event will unite local car enthusiasts in a stunning automotive showcase while supporting both organizations. The event will feature a diverse display of classic, muscle, exotic, and custom vehicles, attracting car lovers from all over Indiana, and will also raise awareness for Folds of Honor Indiana’s incredible work. Participants who bring their vehicles will also be able to register to drive them on the famous Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park Dragstrip.
“We truly value our partnership with Indianapolis Cars & Coffee and we’re thrilled about the upcoming IC&C events this year,” said Mike Daggett, Folds of Honor Indiana Board President and U.S. Air Force Veteran. “Their continued support means the world to our mission, helping us provide educational scholarships to the families of fallen and disabled heroes. Together, we are making a tangible impact in our state and we’re excited to see our community continue to come together to support this important cause.”
The ongoing collaboration between Folds of Honor Indiana and Indianapolis Cars & Coffee highlights the central Indiana community’s commitment to honoring those who have served our country and their loved ones.
“Indianapolis Cars & Coffee has become such a powerful way to connect auto enthusiasts while giving back to the community, and we’re so proud of what we’ve built as a 100-perent volunteer-run organization,” said Drew Yagodnik, IC&C board member. “We’ve loved partnering with Folds of Honor Indiana over the past few years to support their mission, and we’re excited to do it again this season.”
All Indianapolis Cars & Coffee events are free, family-friendly and open to the public. No registration is needed to showcase vehicles, but drivers do need to sign up if they want to participate in a Lucas Oil Race IRP Dragstrip Fun Run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 19. Dragstrip Fun Runs are solely administered/managed by Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park.
