Florine M. (Hardin) Sparks, 95, of Noblesville, passed away on the morning of Friday, March 24, 2017 at Harbour Manor Care Center. She was born on July 6, 1921 to Ollie and Reba (White) Hardin in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Florine graduated from Ben Davis High School in 1939, and worked in the cafeteria at North Central Schools in Indianapolis. She was a former member of White Chapel church, and enjoyed crocheting, cooking, sewing, cookouts, and playing Bingo. Florine enjoyed watching all sports especially the Colts, Pacers, and any sport a grandchild was playing. She was an avid reader; in the last few years, she continued her love of reading by listening to books on tape. Most of all, Florine loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Helen Tucker, Sally Elaine Turner, and Mary Beth Allison; sister, Corrine Nielsen; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Florine was preceded in death by her daughters, Nancy Ellen Eidson and Julie Anne Shank; husband, Glenn Robert Sparks; sister, Lucy Sharpe; and brother, O.M. Hardin.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street, in Noblesville. Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the funeral home, with Pastor James Rennard officiating. Burial will be at Union Chapel Cemetery in Indianapolis.
