Flois D. Burrow

October 28, 1939 – June 26, 2024

Flois D. Burrow, 84, Noblesville, passed away on Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on October 28, 1939, to William and Pauline (Canterbury) Burrow in Pocahontas, Ark.

Flois graduated from Noblesville High School and was founder of King Systems Corp. His business became an extension of his family. Flois raised and bred Arabian horses, and his herd stallion, “Real Mac,” became the first mascot for the Indianapolis Colts for seven years. He loved farming, antique cars, model railroad trains, Indian motorcycles, and mowing on his John Deere Tractors. Flois loved traveling and cruised all over the world. He was always willing to help others and touched many lives. Flois was a true believer in hard work, and he was kind and humble. He preached patience but didn’t always take his own advice – LOL! Most importantly, his family was everything. Flois was the rock of his family and will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Cindy Burrow; children, Kevin Burrow (Michelle Hendricks), Kim Mace (Jerry), and Kelly Burrow (Dennis Thompson); grandchildren, Kyle Rasnake (Amanda), Natalie Zadorozny (Chris), Austin Mace (Heather), Lindsey Babb (Nick), Cole Ranker, Sarah Ranker, and Blake Burrow; great-grandchildren, Matthew, Brooklyn, Hattie Mae, and Summer; nephews, Bart Burrow, Bret Burrow, and Aaron Burrow; as well as other nieces, nephews, and other family. In addition to his parents, Flois was preceded in death by his brothers, Don & Clovis Burrow; and his sister, Lafern Inness.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, July 1, 2024, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville. An additional visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., with services at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at the funeral home, with Rev. Stanley R. Sutton officiating.
