Five Hamilton County residents named “Class VI Fellows” at Mitch Daniels Leadership Foundation

The Mitch Daniels Leadership Foundation (MDLF) has announced the 25 participants for its Class VI Fellowship. The MDLF Fellowship was established in 2017 to create a statewide network of change agents who are actively working to make Indiana the best place to build a future.

The two-year, curated program includes monthly convenings and rigorous coursework on issues including the economy, education, healthcare, and civil society while providing opportunities to learn from a variety of experts through lectures, exclusive case studies, and Socratic-style discussions. Unique to MDLF, Fellows identify issues, apply critical thinking, and address challenges in their own communities through individual Capstone projects.

Fellows are selected by the MDLF Board based on their demonstrated leadership, entrepreneurial spirit, and alignment to the Foundation’s core principles of individual liberty, personal responsibility, and the importance of private enterprise.

“We are delighted to share the Class selection was a result of 137 applicants from 28 counties that went through an extensive and competitive application process,” MDLF Fellowship Committee Chair Blair Milo said. “Now being six years into the program with over 100 prior Fellows, we can see the impact being made personally, professionally, and statewide. This class is diverse in thought, region, industry, and background, and we are looking forward to the growth and development they’ll experience over the next two years.”
