Five Hamilton County basketball players have been selected to play in the 18th Annual Hoosier Gym Classic All-Star Game.
The game takes place at the historic Hoosier Gym in Knightstown, known as the home of the Hickory Huskers from the movie Hoosiers. The annual girls/boys doubleheader is schedule for Saturday, April 29. The girls game tips off at noon, with the boys game to follow.
Four county girls were selected to play: Hailey Smith and Olivia Smith from Fishers, and Olivia Brown and Riley Makalusky from Hamilton Southeastern. Carmel’s Sam Orme is on the boys roster.
In addition, Noblesville girls head coach Donna Buckley will serve as one of the coaches in the girls game.
Tickets are $25 for both games, but there are only 450 available. Sales begin today and are available only on the Hoosier Gym’s website: www.thehoosiergym.com.
