Fishers Youth Initiative seeks executive director

Current leader Brittany Rayburn will step down in May

Fishers Youth Initiative (FYI), formerly the Youth Mentoring Initiative and Fishers Youth Assistance Program, launched on Wednesday its search for a new executive director. The announcement follows the resignation of Brittany Rayburn, current FYI executive director.

Rayburn led the organization through the first phase of the merger of the two youth-focused nonprofits. Her last day with FYI will be May 28.

“We’re grateful for Brittany’s steadfast leadership for the last four years as YMI’s executive director, and recently during the transition to become Fishers Youth Initiative,” FYI Board of Directors Co-President Matt Schlueter said. “As we look ahead, we are excited to bring together critical services and support to youth in Fishers and look forward to bringing in a dynamic leader that can continue to grow FYI’s impact.”

The Board of Directors will launch a search committee to identify FYI’s new executive director. The position posting can be found at this link. Interested candidates may inquire directly to FYI Co-President Anderson Schoenrock at schoenrock@memoryventures.com.

FYI will hold its annual spring fundraiser, Wines Around the World, on Friday, May 16. Tickets and sponsorships are available at this link.
