Fishers swimming sweeps double dual

The Fishers swimming teams won a double dual meet against Westfield and Brownsburg Saturday at the Bulldogs’ aquatic center.
In the girls meet, the Tigers won 145-41 over the Shamrocks and 131-55 against Brownsburg. Individual event winners for Fishers were Jo Jo Ramey in the individual medley and 500 freestyles, Ellen Fero in the 50 and 100 freestyles, Alexandra Stein in the butterfly and backstroke, and Lydia Reade in the breaststroke. The Tigers swept all three relays: Ramey, Kate Mouser, Stein and Fero won the medley relay; Kalli Agapios, Hannah Pratt, Abby Jahns and Ramey were first in the 200 free relay; and Fero, Charlie Ramey, Pratt and Reade won the 400 free relay.
Macy Hoaglan got a win for Westfield in the 200 free.
In the boys meet, the Tigers won 124-61 over the Shamrocks and 101-85 against Brownsburg. Picking up individual wins for Fishers were Aaron Frollo in the 200 and 500 freestyles, William Jansen in diving and Kyle Ponsler in the IM and backstroke. The Tigers also won the medley relay, which consisted of Logan Ayres, Reed Beaumont, Bruno Kitazuka and Ponsler.
Westfield’s Cameron Clayton was first in the butterfly.
