The Fishers swimming and diving team celebrated Senior Night on Friday with its College Events Classic, a double dual meet with Fort Wayne Carroll and Homestead.
The Tigers girls split the night, beating Homestead 128-108 while being edged out by Carroll 118-117. Individual event winnaers included Samantha Hietpas in the 500 and 1000 freestyles, Hannah Pratt in the 100 and 200 freestyles and Savannah Kennedy in the 400 individual medley.
On the boys’ side, the Tigers were defeated in both meets. Fishers lost to Homestead 123-113 and to Fort Wayne Carroll 153-83. Individual event winners included Kyle Ponsler in the 500 and 1000 freestyles, and Tyler Schwertfeger in the 200 free. On the diving boards, Sebastian Otero took the top spot.
