On Friday, the Fishers Mayor’s Youth Academy covered the city’s legal system and courts. Students had the opportunity to visit Geist Waterfront Park, the Fishers Health Department’s vaccination site, and the Nickel Plate Trail. They also learned about how public policy influences each amenity in the city. The day ended with policy question presentations and observing City Court proceedings.
