Fishers Safety Day

Scout Pack 190 returns to help with Sheriff’s Bicycle Rodeo

It’s almost time for Fishers Safety Day, and that means the return of the Bicycle Rodeo. Bring your bicycle and helmet and head over to the Nickel Plate District AMP on Saturday, Sept. 10. Registration opens at 8 a.m. and the Bicycle Rodeo will take place from 9 to 11 a.m.

The brainchild of Chris Zuber, a Scout Leader in Pack 190 in Fishers, this event was created to teach bike safety on a grand scale to the Fishers community through a cooperative effort with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office by using fun activities. This is the second year that Scouts will participate in the Fishers Safety Day.

What bike rodeo would be complete without a bike check? This event will have one, so be sure to bring your bike by the repair station and the Scouts will do their best to get the bike into working order.

Be sure to register at pack190fishers.org/special-events so they will know you are coming.
