Fishers road construction updates, week of Sept. 18

State Road 37 & 141st Street

Between 9 a.m. and noon on Tuesday, Sept. 19, crews will update pavement markings and repair the shoulder at 141st Street and SR37. There will be restrictions and short-term closures while markings are being added on eastbound 141st Street onto the southbound SR 37 merge lane and on westbound 141st Street onto the northbound SR 37 merge lane.

126th Street & Ford Drive roundabout

Weather permitting, crews will have lane restrictions between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 19 at 126th Street and Ford Drive to allow for storm sewer cleaning.

116th Street at Brooks School Road

Beginning on Monday, Sept. 18, crews will have one westbound lane of 116th Street closed at Brooks School Road to allow a contractor to replace the handrail along the Marathon station.

96th Street near Lantern Road

After 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 20, crews will have lane restrictions on eastbound 96th street before Lantern Road to mill and repair pavement.

Allisonville Road restrictions

Between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 20 and Thursday, Sept. 21, crews will have lane restrictions in place on Allisonville Road at Hamilton Hills Lane for sanitary sewer work.

146th Street & Allisonville Road

Phase 2A traffic restrictions are in effect. These restrictions eliminate left-turn movements from 146th Street onto Allisonville Road and reopen to two thru lanes on eastbound and westbound 146th Street.

Please watch for flaggers and workers in and around the construction zone. Construction crews are continuing to work on storm sewer installation and roadway grading. Crews are continuing work on the widening of the westbound bridge over the White River. The contractor has installed cofferdams and delineating buoys in the White River for pier construction. The contractor is continuing work of the bridge foundations and substructure units. Use caution if canoeing or tubing through the work zone.

106th Street & Hoosier Road

The intersection of 106th Street and Hoosier Road is closed for the construction of a roundabout. Access into and out of Windermere subdivision will be on Geist Road via Governors Lane. Detour route can be found here. For additional project information, view the Capital Project Dashboard here.

Cumberland Road

There are daily lane closures currently on Cumberland Road just south of 126th Street for sanitary and water line work. The northbound right turn lane and the southbound passing blister will be closed.

Geist Greenway

Geist Greenway is now open between Valley Crossing and 126th Street. Work has resumed on the trail south of Valley Crossing Drive and will remain closed until construction is finished. Tree trimming

Beginning on Monday, Sept. 18, contractors will perform tree trimming in the medians along 116th Street and Allisonville Road. During the next several weeks, one lane on each side of the median will be closed between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. to perform this work. Restrictions will be in place along 116th Street from Eller Road to Olio Road and along Allisonville Road from Eller Road to 126th Street.

Resurfacing Projects

ADA ramp and curb reconstruction is currently taking place in the Harrison Parks and Harrison Lakes as part of the 2023 Resurfacing Project. These areas will be restored with topsoil and seed. It is the responsibility of the homeowner to water the seed for the seed to germinate. Prior to road resurfacing, residents will be notified via street signage for street parking restrictions.

Road resurfacing has begun in The Parks at White River.

Nickel Plate Trail

The City of Fishers has completed the Fishers portion of the Nickel Plate Trail between Hague Road and 106th Street. Coordination and planning are underway with Indianapolis for the final phase between Hague Road and the crossing of 96th Street. I-465 & I-69
